Fivio Foreign and Kanye West are back again with a new collaboration. “City of Gods” is a smooth and dark record that follows their first collab, “Off the Grid,” which was released last year. On the new track, Fivio slides over a drill beat as he raps about his hometown. “Pop was the king of New York, now I’m the nigga in charge/ Only the drillers, the city is ours,” he spits. Kanye also lays down a memorable verse, rapping, “Ayy, Fivi’, excuse me, but this the feature of the year/ I feel like Sinatra in these streets, me and Drizzy, we at peace/ This the backpack with the Polo and the first Jesus piece.” And Alicia Keys provides a soulful chorus while Playboi Carti ad-libs in the background. “City of Gods” is gearing up for the release of Fvio Foreign’s album, B.I.B.L.E.

“Diet Coke” is a hypnotic record that finds Pusha-T doing what he does best, coming out the gate with premier coke rap verses and a fiery hook. “The crack era was such a Black era/ How many still standin’ reflectin’ in that mirror?/ Lucky me,” he spits. What ultimately ties the track together, though, is the song’s beat, which was created by 88-Keys 18 years ago. “Diet Coke” is the lead track from Pusha-T’s upcoming album, which is slated to drop sometime this year.

Yeat, “Still Countin”

“Still Countin” is a sinister record that finds Yeat rapping over a howling, synthy beat. He brags about his steady income and rockstar lifestyle, spitting, “I touched mе a mill’, and I bought me a building/ Pull up to the show, and I’m breakin’ the ceiling, turn up.” This is, without a doubt, a rowdy track you’ll want to mosh to, and it arrives alongside an iPhone music video from Cole Bennett that matches its chaotic energy. “Still Countin” will appear on Yeat’s forthcoming album, 2 Alive, which is expected to drop Feb. 18.

Just in time for Valentine’s Day, Future dropped his new single “Worst Day,” an anti-love song. On the track, Future sounds annoyed as he sings about Valentine’s Day being the worst day of his life, due to the stacks of money he has to drop on his many lovers. “When you got more than one, two/ three, four, five, six bitches/ Valentine’s Day the worst day, when a nigga rich,” he sings. “Worst Day” is Future’s first solo single since 2020.

Nicki Minaj f/ Lil Baby, “Bussin”

After the release of “Do We Have A Problem?” last week, Nicki Minaj and Lil Baby are back with another collaboration. “Bussin” is a dizzying trap record that finds the duo trading verses with call and response flows. Nicki has a bouncy delivery as she spits, “It say ‘Barbie’ on my wrist tatt/ I ain’t at the bus stop, but my niggas bust back.” Lil Baby’s contribution is equally memorable as he echoes similar lines of Nicki’s. “Bussin” is Nicki Minaj’s second release of the year.

On the track, he looks back on the many challenges and obstacles that stood in his way over the years, rapping, “I done been down rollin’ by the deep/ I done been washed up by the sea/ I see through your fogginess and the debris.” Elsewhere, Ace raps about the obstacles the Black community still faces (“Madness, we livin’ in madness/ Killin’ each other instead of them suckers/ who really oppressin’ the masses”). “Glory” is a standout from Ace Hood’s album, M.I.N.D. (Memories Inside Never Die)

The duo deliver a back-and-forth on the chorus, rapping, “It’s not a conflict of interest/ Cuh, them niggas with the business/ West Coast niggas rockin’ them Timberlands deep up in them trenches/ It’s no difference.” “Conflicted” appears on Snoop’s new album, BODR, and arrives a few days before his highly-anticipated Super Bowl halftime performance with Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and Mary J. Blige.

On the second half of the track, the beat switches as Kevin Abstract chants over rambunctious production. “These the streets I run, man/ You can’t tell me nothing/ Got just what I want, man/ Still up off these drugs, man,” he yells, followed by a call and response between the duo. “EYE EYE EYE” appears on SNOT’s new album, Ethereal

On “Closer,” Saweetie opts for a more pop vibe. H.E.R. delivers an upbeat and airy chorus as she sings in high-pitched vocals about getting closer to someone special. While her fierce attitude is still there, Saweetie appeals to her softer side as she picks which guy she wants to spend the weekend with. “I wanna fall in love for the weekend/ Three boyfriends, I don’t know where I’m sleepin’,” she raps. “Closer” will definitely find popularity on the radio and TikTok. The track is the latest release from Saweetie’s forthcoming album, Pretty Bitch Music.
