YG wants to clear his name after a video shows him allegedly cheating on his girlfriend Kehlani.
On Wednesday night, YG was caught on camera getting close with a woman that wasn't Kehlani. According to The Shade Room, the rapper was leaving the Poppy Night Club when he started talking to a mysterious woman through the window of his car. He opened the door and the two engaged in what appeared to be a kiss.
A member of YG's camp confirmed that the incident took place. The rapper's team informed The Shade Room that he is not romantically involved with the woman. "He was drunk, got carried away and it was very regretful for putting himself in that situation and hurting Kehlani," the statement reads. "He has no romantic connection to the girl, just a drunken moment carried away."
TMZ also reports that the rapper did not try to step out with another woman. The publication spoke with someone who was partying with the rapper that said a woman was trying to get a pic with YG, who was sitting in the passenger seat of his car, but there was no kiss.
YG told the woman he wasn't in the mood for pictures, but she kept being pushy. YG now regrets putting himself in that situation to be misconstrued by onlookers.
In addition, YG's driver claims that he didn't kiss the woman. As for Kehlani, she reportedly isn't tripping over the situation.
Members of YG's team did not immediately respond to Complex’s request for comment.
