Taylor Swift really can do no wrong.
With just a few more days until Christmas, Swift was touched by a story that was brought to her attention on social media and wanted to give the best gift ever.
The hashtag #DelaneyMeetTaylor was for one cancer patient, Delaney Clements, who has a reputation of being a huge Swiftie. The Colorado native has been battling cancer for five years and one of her wishes was to meet her idol. Despite having to start hospice care soon, she’s keeping her spirits high.
Swift surprised the 13-year-old with a visit earlier this afternoon, where she took selfies and hung out with her at her home in Grand Junction.
Delaney was excited to see Swift. And we’re also glad it finally happened.
