The rise of Australian hip-hop artist Nooky has truly been something to see. From rapper to a must-follow social media MVP, and now a radio host on national broadcaster Triple J, Nooky has been constantly elevating.
Next up, Nooky is taking it to the next level with the launch of a new platform to celebrate the accomplishments and excellence of Indigenous Australians. We Are Warriors is an ambitious project helmed by Nooky and creative agency R/GA which is built on the simple premise that you can’t be what you can’t see. The platform will serve to inspire and connect Indigenous youth with First Nations role models, giving them not only the inspiration to chase their dreams but the realisation that it is entirely possible to achieve success in their chosen field.
We Are Warriors launches today January 26 with a content series available on YouTube, including interviews with BARKAA, Kobie Dee and more, and will soon grow to include community-run workshops, a clothing line with proceeds reinvested into further content development, and an overarching roadmap to build empathy among everyday Australians.
