Partynextdoor has had no trouble keeping busy. This year alone, the Canadian singer has hopped on a world tour with Halsey, has appeared on records by everyone from Major Lazer to Zayn Malik to Majid Jordan, and has also come through with the Colours 2 and Seven Days mixtapes. But there’s one project PND fans have been patiently waiting for all year: his third studio album.

On Wednesday, the OVO artist provided a brief update about the highly anticipated album, suggesting it might be a while before it drops.

“I’m taking my time with this album,” he tweeted. “It’s straight party & unapologetic.”

Rumors have been surrounding the project for months. Back in August, a billboard with PND’s name and the title “Club Atlantis” popped up in Toronto, leading many people to believe it was a promo for his third studio album. Some were also convinced the project would arrive before 2018, but considering there’s only five and a half weeks left in the year, that seems very unlikely.

Earlier this year, PND confirmed he had a handful of big-name collaborations up his sleeve. He took to Twitter to announce he was working on new music with T-Pain, Ne-Yo, and Kanye West.

PND is also gearing up for his Infinity World Tour with R&B singer Jesse Reyez. The tour will kick off Feb. 4, 2018 in Dublin.
