Taylor Swift has hit the road to embark on her first stadium tour in three years, as the pop star kicked off her Eras Tour in Glendale, Arizona on Friday night.
Swiftâs first tour since the Reputation Stadium Tour in 2018, last nightâs Glendale show saw Taylor perform classic cuts like âLove Storyâ and âYou Belong With Meâ alongside more recent offering such as âCruel Summerâ and âThe Man.â
Earlier this year, Taylorâs Eras Tour broke the record for the most concert tickets sold by an artist in one day with 2.4 million.
As reported by TMZ, Swift didnât shy away from expressing her emotions, what with it being her first arena tour since 2019.
âIs it just me or do we have a lot of things to catch up on? Itâs been a really long time since Iâve been on tour,â she told the crowd. âI canât even go into how much Iâve missed you...because thereâs no way to verbalize it.â
Later on in the night, Taylor admitted that she was feeling âreally overwhelmed, and trying to keep it together all night.â
