YoungBoy Never Broke Again landed himself a plea deal in his assault and kidnapping case this week in Georgia. The rapper has gotten off with no jail time after he body slammed his girlfriend and dragged her back inside his room in February 2018. He pled guilty to misdemeanor simple battery family violence, and as a result prosecuotrs have dropped his kidnapping and aggravated assault charges.
YoungBoy has, however, been sentenced to 12 months of probation and received a $1,500 fine. The Ware County District Attorney's Office told TMZ about the deal, which will also require him to attend anger management classes. He was originally given a two-count indictment for aggravated assault and kidnapping after surveillance footage of the violent incident surfaced online. His girlfriend, whom it is unclear if he is still with as of right now, said she did not plan to press charges against him.
Ware County district attorney George Barnhill also said that she did not turn up in court and she wouldn't testify if she was forced to attend the sentencing. "We resolved the case as best we could without her cooperation," he added. The news arrives just after the rapper had his prior probation terminated early. He was in jail earlier this year after he was involved in a shooting in Miami in which he was believed to be the target.
