If you're yet to hear about Nottingham-born artist Hex, then you better start paying attention. Hex made waves last year with the release of his debut single "Me, Myself & I", and follow-up songs such as "Limitless" and "Gene Kelly", the latter of which saw Yungen jump on a remix.

The melodic, atmospheric nature of Hex's music has seen him carve out a lane all of his own, marking him out by many to have a big 2018. Starting the year as he means to continue, "$antana $mooth" serves as his first single of the year, with some heavy bass amplifying the sauce on the self-produced track. But it's not just the production that goes in: throw in a catchy hook and some clever wordplay, coupled with some classy visuals, and it looks as if Hex is living up to the hype.
