After an 11-month wait, Tory Lanez has finally delivered his T-Pain assisted track "Jerry Sprunger."
The Canadian artist teased the record in early December 2018, when he posted a video of T-Pain's first reaction to the track. Let's just say, Teddy was more than pleased: "Somebody get CSI Miami on the phone, there's a body on a street," T-Pain enthusiastically said upon hearing the cut.Â
The song sample's T-Pain's single "I'm Sprung," off the rapper's 2005 debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga. Lanez also released a music video for the track. Check out the visuals up top and stream the song via Spotify below.
"Jerry Sprunger," produced by Papà Yerr, will appear on the fifth installment of Lanez's Chixtape series, set to drop Nov. 15.Â
"Just the way it looks, the aesthetic of it, she hasn’t aged at all, she looks the same," Lanez told Rap-Up about the album art choice. "You even see with the cover, it’s like she ain’t missed a second. It’s just incredible to have captured that same exact feel."
