Since disappearing from Instagram, several theories have surfaced as to why 50 Cent's account was deactivated. Now, the rapper has decided to set the record straight.

On Sunday, 50 reminded his followers that he's the master of his own destiny. In a tweet containing an article that claims he was banned from Instagram for trolling actress Naturi Naughton, 50 Cent explained that this (and similar reports) should be categorized as false. In actuality, he deactivated his own account.

"LOL Im cool with all these false report, if you don’t know why something happens you can’t just make some shit up," 50 Cent wrote. "smh I turned my own IG page off SUCKERS."

Fans first noticed that 50 Cent's Instagram account was deactivated last week. Fif's account has become an extension of his rap persona as he uses it to troll and bully his foe. He also adds commentary to controversial topics via Instagram. As a result, people figured that the rapper somehow violated Instagram's new code of conduct. But it seems like he's merely looking to expand his social media presence by taking his talents to Twitter.
