Seven years ago, California-born artist Cody Randall landed in the UK to embark on a uni course in Liverpool. In the four years he spent here, the UK became his home and he felt settled and welcomed — until he wasn't. After being kicked out of the country and making his way back to the West Coast, Randall was consumed by feelings of rejection, as if an entire country had turned on him over night.

His reaction to that tumultuous period would eventually become his latest single, "Good To Me", which officially drops tomorrow, October 25. Part love letter, part break-up anthem, "Good To Me" is a powerful and cathartic track, with a sombre production from Nick Lee, that taps into those feelings of rejection with laser-like precision.
