More than a month after releasing the controversial "Camp America" video, in which white children were seen locked up in cages, Vic Mensa unleashes the provocative visual for "3 Years Sober"—proving, once again, he isn't afraid to cause a stir.

The video, co-directed by Mensa and Franc Fernandez, finds the artist in full drag, donning a blond wig, make-up, and a Confederate flag dress. We then see the rapper fending off a Mike Pence look-alike who has a clear disdain for women's reproductive rights. Mensa then gets into a physical altercation with two men on the street, who end up writing insults on the rapper's face. There's also a run-in with a gang of "BBQ Beckys," who ultimately call the police on Mensa. The video ends with the rapper being forcefully removed from a woman's bathroom and placed in handcuffs.

You can check out the visual above.

"3 Years Sober" was produced by Travis Barker and recorded with Mensa's band 93PUNX. The track received praise from another genre-fusing artist, Lil Nas X.

During an interview on Beats 1 radio, Mensa said he decided to form a rock outfit while creating his 2018 project HOOLIGANS.

"I also was making this punk music," he told Ebro Darden. "As I came to have these two different separate entities, I was like, ‘OK, let me not try to just mash all of these together and have to compromise being to go all the way.’ I took the records that were more in a rap space and made this project out of them. And the punk records are going to be on that album."

Mensa and 93PUNX also made an appearance at the inaugural ComplexCon Chicago, where they unveiled a new line of apparel.

Mensa is now gearing up to hit the road with Jesse Rutherford of The Neighbourhood. The co-headlining Heads & Tails Tour will kick off on Aug. 22 and conclude Sept. 14. The headliner for each show will be determined by a coin toss. Check out the tour schedule below; tickets are available here.
