Last month Bun B got into a shootout after a home intruder held his wife Angela "Queenie" Walls at gunpoint and attempted to steal her car. The intruder was later arrested, but not before Bun B confronted the individual and shot him in the shoulder. The couple have now appeared on the Breakfast Club to speak about the incident, bringing along an attorney.

"At the moment it was unreal because we had just made it home within 20 minutes," Queenie explained of the ordeal while wiping away tears. She answered the door thinking it was a delivery from UPS or Amazon, but was greeted by the masked assailant who immediately burst in. "I didn't want him to take me into that bedroom and rape me, do whatever he wanted to do," she added.

"Unfortunately I wasn't the one that had to confront him in the moment, she was," Bun continued. "I'm so proud of her not only for how she handled herself, but...her only thought was to protect me, because in the moment, her assumption is this person is coming to get me. She [didn't] know it was a random act at the time, so she thinks this person is coming to kill me. So she's like I need to hold this person here until Bun can get to the gun. And even if he kills me, I know Bun can kill him."

He added, "She's the hero because if she didn't stall him out I [wouldn't have] gotten to the pistol." The suspect has since been identified as Demonte Jackson, and was charged with two counts of aggravated robbery with a weapon and one count of burglary.
