Birmingham grime don Felix Dubs has just launched a brand new label called Red Lagoon and now he's ready with the label's first release, his new EP Moarrish.
Besides guest vocals from Nottingham spitters J.Dot and JayEye, we had to draw your attention to the title track. Fizzing and bubbling with grimey futurism, Dubs manages to simultaneously cram the instrumental full of colour and leave plenty of space for an MC to spread out and do their thing.
What the future holds for the newborn Red Lagoon label remains shrouded in mystery, but this is a very strong opening gambit from the head honcho. While we wait for the EP to drop on April 26, take a listen to "Moarrish" exclusively below.
