Fresh off the premiere of her "Big Ole Freak" video directed by Munachi Osegbu, Houston's Megan Thee Stallion is promising nothing but "real hot girl shit" for the duration of 2019 in her new freestyle.
During an appearance on Charlie Sloth's Beats 1 show Fire in the Booth, Megan let loose on pathetic exes while detailing the foundation she's put in place to build her biggest year yet. "I'm about to drop the hottest project of 2019, so y'all better get ready for that because it's coming," she told Sloth near the end of the five-minute drop.
Asked during the outro where she sees herself in five years, Megan kept her creative goals at the forefront. "I will definitely be, like, an icon in five years . . . I'm gon' be, like, a household name," she said.

Complex had a wide-ranging discussion with Megan, who's signed to 300 Entertainment, at the top of the year. As Megan explained to writer Kiana Fitzgerald at the time, 300 was the label that showed her "the most" by being persistent.
"They were not playing with me and I want somebody that’s gon' show me that attention," she said. "I want to be a priority, and at 300, they were like, 'You're gonna be like the First Lady, so please come.'"
In December, Megan dropped her 10-track Tina Snow project featuring the aforementioned "Big Ole Freak" and the Moneybagg Yo collab "Make a Bag."
