Earl Sweatshirt was in New Orleans, Louisiana to perform at the Buku Music + Art Project over the weekend. He ended up with a viral interaction with a fan.
Twitter user Mitch Colen approached Earl and immediately took out his phone to record him without asking first. Needless to say, Earl wasn't impressed.
"When you want a pic with one of your favorite rappers since day 1 and he's a dick," Colen captioned the post. The entitled fan immediately had his phone swatted out of his hands by Earl. "Fuck that motherfucker," the fan said as he picked up his phone.
(As a self-proclaimed Earl Sweatshirt fan, perhaps he should know that Earl previously rapped, "I'm over bitches trying to act like I owe 'em a picture / Rather introduce these hoes to Vince who could show you a pistol."
Speaking of Vince Staples, the Long Beach rapper and Earl's longtime buddy chimed in on Twitter when he saw the video. "If you feel disrespected I can get you a fade from the homie just let me know," he said.
Let this be a warning to any fan who believes they're owed a picture.
