Wiz Khalifa is seemingly nodding at macrophilia a la Lit's "Miserable" in his new "Hopeless Romantic" video.
In the new video for the Swae Lee-featuring Rolling Papers 2 single, Wiz is seen smoking weed and hopeless romantic-ing atop giantesses. Catch the TK McKamy film in full up top. As fellow music video aficionados already know, Lit took a similar approach in the Evan Bernard-directed video for their 2000 single "Miserable." Maybe Wiz has been spinning A Place in the Sun recently?
Below, peruse some nice behind-the-scenes photos from the green screen-assisted "Hopeless Romantic" shoot via McKamy's Instagram:
Last month, Wiz enlisted the Clermont Twins for the official video for his Problem-featuring Rolling Papers 2 cut "Gin & Drugs."
"I really just wanted to continue the legacy," Wiz recently toldiHeartRadio of his decision to give fans a sequel to his 2011 major label debut. The sequel, Wiz explained, chronicles the personal growth he's experience over the past four years. "[The title track and 'BLK'] are definitely the more personal songs where I explain how I feel and what I've been through and where you can listen to the raps," he said. "It's really me telling the story of myself and maybe some things I've gained, maybe some things that I've lost."
Wiz is currently on the road with Swae and Slim Jxmmi for their joint Dazed & Blazed Tour. Check the dates here.
