Wireless Festival hasn't even begun and yet there's still plenty to talk about leading up to the three-day event this weekend (July 6-8). Cardi B and J Hus have been ruled out of performing for their respective reasons, and we're still wondering what "friends" DJ Khaled is planning to bring with him on-stage for his set. Either way, we're set for a great weekend filled with fun, sun, and of course great music from both sides of the Atlantic. Icons such as J. Cole, Migos and Rick Ross will share the stage with the likes of Wiley, Stormzy and Giggs, while fan favourites such as Rae Sremmurd, Belly Squad and Chip will also hit the stage. It's also been announced that Rinse FM and Smirnoff Equalising Music will host an all-female stage, featuring the likes of Tiffany Calver, Paigey Cakey, and Trillary Banks.

If you managed to get yourself a ticket, then count yourself lucky as they sold out in just over 24 hours. But even still, with MTV UK covering the festival, there's no reason anyone should miss out. Here are five performances you don't want to miss across the weekend.

Just Banco

When you think of artists from Manchester, you could be forgiven for thinking about IAMDDB or Bugzy Malone, but with his own "trapenese" style combining elements of R&B, grime and rap, rapper Just Banco is definitely an artist in his own lane. Having previously been co-signed by Stormzy, there is no doubt that if you see Just Banco perform you're going to leave his set as a fan.

A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie

Having a Gold certified album go top 5 on Billboard is impressive, and at the age of 21 is rare. That is exactly the situation New York rapper A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie found himself in after the release of his debut album, The Bigger Artist, last year. But he had plenty of hits before then. Known for his melodic style and quotable lyrics, you would have to be a hater not to feel even a slight vibe to his music. And with his latest project featuring none other than Kojo Funds, a live performance of that track could make for a historic moment on stage.

Jaykae

One of the leading lights in Birmingham's grime scene, Jaykae has gone from strength to strength over the years. With his track "Toothache" being featured in Power (Season 5 is out now, btw), and supporting legends such as Stormzy and Skepta on tours, he has managed to up the levels with every song, performance, and project. With a loyal fanbase behind him, and direct, unflinching energy in his sets, it is guaranteed that Jaykae will shell it down and show everyone why he's a major player not just in Birmingham, but the grime scene in general.

6LACK

6LACK (pronounced Black) took the R&B world by storm with his debut album, FREE 6LACK, which went on to sell over 200,000 units, gain over 100 million streams, and landed him supporting spots on tour with legends like The Weeknd and Chris Brown. Still not convinced? 6LACK has recently released a song with the iconic producer Timbaland, as well as the first single from his upcoming sophomore album, meaning that while it is certain he will perform his old hits, it's also possible he may reveal some new gems in front of an eager London crowd.

Hardy Caprio

Since the release of "Unsigned" last year, Hardy Caprio's single with One Acen, both artists have gone on to do some pretty big things. We've now got used to non-stop bangers from Hardy Caprio, the Croydon rapper who has shown he's able to do his thing on any kind of beat: grime, rap or Afrobeats. With a whole range of hits under his belt, Hardy's set is sure to get a big reaction from the crowd, so make sure you're around when it all pops off.
