London's Joseph Lawrence & The Garden have just dropped off the video for their new single, "Eclipse", and it's an ambitious one. The track, they tell us, was chiefly inspired by the free-jazz production elements of Kendrick, the soulful vibrations of D'Angelo as well as the haunting darkness of James Blake.

The video itself sees Lawrence sing passionately about using different methods to cope with a lost love, with the instrumentation from Gibbi (The Garden) complementing his vocals perfectly. Speaking about the track, they told Complex over email: "'Eclipse' is about heartache. It's about the painful decline of a short-lived but intense love; it's quite a raw piece of music about a very pure emotion, and we wanted the video to be the same. It's simple and raw, but powerful."
