In case you haven’t heard, it’s a big day for hip-hop releases, with everyone from Eminem and G-Eazy to N*E*R*D and Jeezy releasing new projects Thursday night. Though that would’ve easily been enough to satisfy most hip-hop heads, Zaytoven also rolled out a new mixtape with heavy features.
Trapping Made It Happen is a 10-track project that includes appearances by Lil Uzi Vert, Juicy J, OJ Da Juiceman, Sosa, Young Dolph, and more. The Atlanta-based producer announced the tape earlier this week, shortly after he delivered the single "Five Guys" assisted by Migos and Young Thug.
The new mixtape arrives one week after Zaytoven dropped his track "Wake Up & Cook Up" featuring Quavo and 2 Chainz. The song is expected to appear on the producer’s upcoming debut studio album, Trap Holizay, due out next year via Motown Records.
Zaytoven spoke about the project during an interview back in May.
"It’s going to be moreso a compilation. Of course, all the guys I’ve known for working with," he said. "I’m gonna have them collectively be a part of my project. But I’m putting combos together that’s never been heard before. Even the song, ‘East Atlanta Day,’ that’s Gucci Mane and 21 Savage but you haven’t heard them on a song together before that. So I’m doing that."
