The MMG family suffered a tragic loss earlier this month when Rick Ross’ longtime manager, Nadrian "Black Bo" James, died at the age of 45.
“The pain the sorrow the mourning is inevitable. But I could take 14 forevers and still never find the words that illustrate how much we love you. How much I love you, how much I need you,” Wale wrote on Instagram in response to the news. “Your wisdom, composure an ear to listen a shoulder to cry on all things we foolishly tend to take for granted […] You will forever be in our hearts. And I will cherish every piece of advice you gave.”
More than two weeks after Black’s death was announced, fans and loved-ones gathered this weekend in Miami to celebrate his life, beginning with a viewing on Friday and a funeral ceremony on Saturday. Many people also expressed their condolences on social media using #LongLiveBlackBo.
Ross shared a photo of himself standing in front a Checkers Drive-In sign that read, “Celebration of Life, Naegrin Lateef James, 1972 - 2017.”
Vice President of MMG Kendell "Young Sav" Freeman also participated in the hashtag, posting an image of a bus with Black’s image next to the MMG logo.
