Last week, Missy Elliott came through with a quick reminder that "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of" actually marked the first single she wrote for an artist. Elliott also has vocals on the track.
Elliott also gave a shout-out to the new Raven's Home series, a sequel/spinoff to Raven-Symoné's hit Disney sitcom That's So Raven.
"That's What Little Girls Are Made Of" was produced by Chad "Dr. Seuss" Elliott and Missy, who was credited at the time as Melissa Elliott. Here's to Dreams, Raven's debut studio album, also included a dub mix version of the track.
According toFact Magazine, Missy didn't appear in the "That's What Little Girls Are Made Of" video to rap her parts because producers said she didn't "fit the image."
The joke's on them, as Missy Elliott still stands as one of the most iconic music video artists of all time. Her most recent single, the Lamb-assisted "I'm Better," was released back in January. The official remix features verses from Lil Kim, Trina, and Eve.
