Earlier this year, Paper Paulk dropped his Power EP which included the Pusha T-assisted “Deposit,” and now the Cleveland rapper is back with Fresh Vibes Sixteen. The 11-track project is inspired by the 1994 film Fresh and showcases Paulk’s gritty style of rap that has earned him recognition in his hometown and beyond.
“Growing up in Cleveland, I learned all about the struggle and the streets of a blue collar city,” Paper Paulk told Complex via email. “You don't get to choose how and where you grow up but you have the choice to prove you can be whatever it is you wanna be.”
Paper Paulk also comes through with the video for "Vows," which you can check out below. Those at A3C Festival this week can catch Paulk on Oct. 5.
