Blac Youngsta caused a social media uproar after claiming he was profiled and detained by police while attempting to withdraw $200,000 from a Wells Fargo in Atlanta on Saturday. Now, it seems the story has gotten a bit more complicated. According to a report by 11Alive, Wells Fargo released a statement today claiming that not only did Sam Benson (Blac Youngsta) not withdraw money from the location, but that he doesn't even hold an account with the bank.

"Mr. Benson is not an account holder with us. He did not enter our store nor did he make any withdrawals," said a Wells Fargo representative. They also confirmed that a fraudulent exchange did occur in the branch, and that police were on the hunt for that suspect when they encountered Blac Youngsta. The bank did note that he was not involved in the fraudulent incident that police were responding to, and that the suspect in that investigation was apprehended. The Yo Gotti affiliate was eventually released without charges and with his cash. He even flexed the new car he bought with the money on Instagram
