One Direction famously began their "extended hiatus" as a band following the release of their latest album, Made in the A.M. While they all promise to come back together, their "year off" has presumably left all members open for new projects outside of the boy band.
The first one who seems to be taking a step forward is Liam Payne. What might be most surprising is his newest collaborator: Three 6 Mafia founding member Juicy J. The rapper posted a picture of the two together in the studio 10 months ago with the caption, "We working!" Since this Instagram was pre-Zayn Malik leaving the group and pre-hiatus, many didn't know what to think of the post at the time.
Juicy J took to Twitter yesterday and revealed the collaboration with Liam is "coming soon." If you remember, Juicy J did flawlessly take on the pop world with Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" back in 2013. If that is any indication, his upcoming collaboration with the One Directioner will probably be just as fire. While we wait, you can also check out J's new O's To Oscars mixtape.
