Kendrick Lamar's To Pimp a Butterfly press run yesterday included an appearance on Los Angeles' Power 106 and an interview with The Cruz Show. During the conversation, Kendrick talked about his recent trip to South Africa, and how much he appreciates all of the love he is getting for the album. Kendrick also revealed that one of the early working titles for the album was How Much a Dollar Cost, though that actually ended up as a song title on the project. As a bonus, Kendrick rapped a portion of a verse that didn't make the final cut of the album because he said it was something he just didn't want to put on a record. Kendrick begins rapping the verse at the 9:30 mark above.
