Speculation has been swirling, but the man himself has now confirmed it: J. Cole will release a new album entitled 2014 Forest Hills Drive on Dec. 9. The rapper tweeted out the announcement Sunday night along with the seven-minute trailer below.
In the description for the clip, which drops J. Cole back in his hometown of Fayetteville, N.C. for a nostalgic tour, he announces there will be no singles ahead of the album's release.
