Over the weekend, the NYPD sent out a tweet searching for Joe Budden after a domestic dispute with his ex-girlfriend, after which he allegedly stole her cell phone, as well. NBC New York caught up with him to get his side of the story. Budden, who says he already turned himself in and was released, also spoke about his Twitter tirade from last week: "[The tweets were] antagonizing. That was me being my own worst enemy. But there is no law against tweets."

Budden is adamant that he will do the right thing, but has issue with the way police handled the situation on social media which he says "surprised" him. Hopefully this situation gets handled in a more subtle manner.
