Here's a Preview of the 2Pac-Inspired Musical "Holler If Ya Hear Me"

Previews for the show begin June 2 at the Palace Theatre, with an opening date set for June 19.

The cast of the 2Pac-inspired musical "Holler If Ya Hear Me" is gearing up for the show's big debut, and Entertainment Weekly has now revealed an in-studio performance of a montage of his songs as a preview of the upcoming show.

Written by Todd Kreidler and directed by Kenny Leon, the show has been described as an original, non-biographical story that will use songs like “Me Against the World," “Keep Ya Head Up," "California Love," and of course "Holler If Ya Hear Me" from 2Pac's catalog to accompany a narrative that follows two friends and their struggles to survive in a Midwest town. Previews for the show begin June 2 at the Palace Theatre, and the official opening date is set for June 19.

Watch the cast perform “California Love,” a ballad version of “Unconditional Love,” and "Holler If Ya Hear Me" above.
