Nineteen year old rapper Speaker Knockerz was found dead in his South Carolina home on March 6th, according to Billboard, who confirmed it with Richland County Coroner's Office.
Speaker Knockerz, born Derek McAllister, was discovered in his garage on March 6. Foul play is not suspected and an autopsy found no sign of trauma. Results are still pending for a toxicology test, to determine if Speaker Knockerz was under the influence of any legal or illegal substances at the time of his death.
A Facebook user claiming to be McAllister's mother, Mesha Wilson, posted about his disappearance several days ago. Earlier today, she posted a Facebook message addressing his passing, thanking supporters for their prayers.
Though unsigned, Speaker Knockerz had a considerable following on Twitter and YouTube. At the time of this publication, several of his videos had over a million views.
