50 Cent Aims Shots at Fake Rappers on Twitter

50 went on an epic Twitter rant last night.

50 Cent is still considered one of the best rappers in hip-hop.  His latest single, “First Date” featuring Too $hort, is a throwback to his former sound that helped catapult his career. Even so, 50 believes his experiments with new music shouldn’t be in direct competition with other rappers, especially ones who aren’t authentic in their lyrics.

Last night, 50 went on a Twitter rant expressing how new artists shouldn’t question his talent. He argues that the culture is misled by rappers who pose as “cops”—most likely a swipe at longtime rival Rick Ross. He then wraps it up by saying these fake rappers talk big but can’t back it up.
