Did you feel really awkward after listening to the lead single from Lou Reed and Metallica's collaborative album, Lulu, too? Well, don't fret... the iconic songwriter and the metal-driven powerhouse give us reason to believe there's more to the album than we'd expected.

In the album trailer (above), sex, greed, love, violence, lust, suicide, hope, guilt, doubt, rapture, desire, pain, madness, and murder are all catalysts behind the unforeseen LP. "We don't really know where it's going, we don't know where it's going to take us, but it's sure as fuck an exciting ride to be on," drummer Lars Ulrich expressed in an interview (below).

Lou Reed also had something special to say about the album:

Not only did it do what it was supposed to, it did more that it would dare dream of. It pushed me to the best I've ever been by having a powerteam. It was, like, amazing.

In addition to the album trailer and 60-second EPK, a tracklist, album credits, and some of the lyrics are all available over at loureedmetallica.com.

Also, get a chance to listen to the album ahead of it's October 31 release date with Lou Reed and Metallica on Monday, October 24. Head on over to the project's official site for more details.
