Canadian border officers have arrested a 60-year-old man for possessing approximately 181 kilograms worth of marijuana and over $600,000 in cash in his car.

According to the RCMP, the man in question, Andrew Lee Toppenberg, wound up at the border near Niagara Falls after mistakenly entering the wrong GPS coordinates.

Toppenberg had no passport on him, which prompted a secondary examination. It was at this time that border officers found the cannabis and the cash. Officers then arrested him and seized both the money and the weed.

The man will be charged with possession of cannabis for the purpose of distribution, importing cannabis, and possessing over $5,000 that was obtained via crime in the United States.

He appeared in court on May 5, but he will have another court date at a later, unspecified date.
