Pornhub, YouPorn Respond to Starbucks Blocking Porn on Its Free Wi-Fi

Pornhub and YouPorn have both responded to the ban placed on their sites by Starbucks, with the latter going the super petty route.

Following the announcement that Starbucks will be blocking customers from accessing porn sites on their free Wi-Fi starting next year, Pornhub responded to the news Thursday by declaring the launch of their new "Safe For Work" category. "While we were aware some people's preference in a sexual partner mimics that of their coffee, we were unaware that people were acting on such impulses when getting their caffeine fix," said Corey Price, vice president of Pornhub, in a statement, perMashable. "To comply with Starbucks' new policy, we've created an option that allows fans to still enjoy great content to which they are accustomed, but that is appropriate for consumption in public places."

Despite Price's claim that this new category provides visitors with a site "that is appropriate for consumption in public places," a quick perusal of the very first SFW page leads to some incredibly explicit pop-up ads. The ads will still have you exhibiting peak sketchy public behavior as you constantly peer over your computer screen, and scan the room from left to right in search of wandering eyes. Let's not forget to mention that it is difficult to mask Pornhub's noticeable black and mustard yellow color scheme. If anything, have the Pittsburgh Steelers' or Penguins' website on an easily accessible (in case of an emergency) tab, but you didn't hear that from us!

Instead of working to create a go-around for people who still need their Pornhub fix, even in a public setting, they could've always responded to this ban from Starbucks with a petty move of their own, as YouPorn did. According to TMZ, the company's vice president sent a memo to its employees, informing them that Starbucks products will be banned from the office starting New Year's Day 2019.

Either way, don't let all this talk about Pornhub and YouPorn's respective responses distract you from the fact that Starbucks has just found a way to implement this ban on its customers.
