Have you ever been mindlessly swiping through Tinder when you stumbled upon a profile that gave you pause—a profile that made your fingers halt as you thought, this one is special? Perhaps with every photo you scrolled through, with every word of their bio you psychoanalyzed, your face gradually came to more closely resemble the heart-eye emoji.

That's what happened to a young Missouri State University student named Hayden Moll. Hayden stumbled upon a girl named Claudia's profile and was taken aback—perhaps even lovestruck—but he accidentally swiped left. The young man had lost his shot at securing a date with Claudia—or so it seemed. He didn't have her last name, per Tinder's rules. But he did know that she attended the same school as him.

In a love-pursuit story that some have titled "Tinderella," Moll was not to be deterred. He was hellbent on meeting Claudia. As Claudia detailed with Twitter screenshots, Hayden emailed every student named Claudia at Missouri State—apparently, there are 43 of them. He must have gone through the Missouri State directory to identify all the Claudias.

In the email, Young Moll offered a lengthy explanation of his error—how could I have swiped left!—and shared his Instagram username before making his case for a date.

"If this is your profile that I described, please message me back with 'right' or 'left' just so I know if you're interested or not," Moll wrote. "If you choose 'right' we could totally get some donuts or something but if you choose 'left' that's cool too. No worries!"

By the looks of things, both Moll's Instagram and Claudia's Twitter have blown up, amassing thousands of followers. Claudia's Twitter bio is "check your email often." Hayden's is "so I emailed a few Claudias."

Hey I know that guy!

Clearly they're enjoying their 15 minutes of fame. If they end up going on that date, you can bet we'll see evidence on social media.
