4 People Killed During Halloween Party Shooting in California

The shooting allegedly took place at an AirBNB rental.

Four people have been killed and at least four injured during a shooting at a Halloween house party.

NBC Bay Area reports that the incident took place around 11 p.m. on Thursday in Orinda, California. There is currently no information available on the suspect.

Witnesses told the outlet the shooting allegedly happened during a Halloween party at an AirBNB rental, and some of the partygoers were college students from a nearby school. Law enforcement has not yet corroborated these witness statements. Local police and the county sheriff’s office are investigating the shooting.

In other Halloween news, a 14-year-old Florida girl is now facing misdemeanor battery charges after reportedly punching a man who was dressed as Donald Trump for the holiday. The unidentified man was standing in line with his family for the haunted house exhibit in Naples, Florida this past Saturday, when the girl allegedly walked up and punched him in the face. 

After hitting the man in the jaw, the girl laughed and ran back to four other juveniles who were holding her place in line. The man subsequently walked over to ask why she struck him before notifying the police. A woman also claimed she captured a video of the incident, which hasn’t yet been released.
