Congratulations, it's an...alien?
There are still some fun gems to be found on this abysmal place called the internet, but who would’ve thought maternity pics would be one of them. Soon-to-be-parents Todd and Nicole Cameron unleashed some hilariously disturbing pregnancy photos on Facebook, celebrating their bundle of joy. The twist? Well, it's an alien:
As reported by the UK Metro, the couple enlisted the help of friend and local photographer Li Carter to shoot their gory maternity series in a pumpkin patch. After finding an Alien Chestburster model at a garage sale, Todd decided it would be the perfect prop for their unconventional Halloween maternity shoot.
The couple’s photos recreating the iconic “chestburster” scene from the 1979 original Alien, directed by Ridley Scott, have since gone viral. On Facebook, the shoot has been shared over 240,000 times.
“We are huge into Halloween and even met at Halloween. We always hand make our costumes and go all out decorating our house for the season,” Todd told Metro. “So this seemed like a perfect way to showcase our quirky sense of humour.”
Fortunately, they’re also having an actual human child who should be entering the world on Oct. 17. Check out the couple's entire shoot below.
