New Amsterdam Vodka and Complex recently wrapped production on the second season of their collaborative series Run the Underground, which will be dropping on screens very soon. To celebrate the debut of season two, the duo recently hosted a one-night only Run the Underground premiere bash at the Low Res Studio in Chicago’s West Loop.
The exclusive event was invite-only, and guests were treated to complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a slate of New Amsterdam custom cocktails that featured delicious new spins on some iconic classics like the Moscow Mule, Salted Dog, Madras, and more. As attendees rolled in and started sipping on their drinks, Chicago’s own Vic Lloyd took to the stage to get things going with a truly dope DJ set.
Next up, the evening’s host—the lovely and talented Natasha Martinez—welcomed the crowd and introduced the night’s main event: a screening of Run the Underground’s second season premiere! The debut was a huge hit with the crowd, and after the screening concluded, Sahar Habibi of Soulection took to the turntables and kept the party moving. Guests finished out the night by rotating between grooving on the dance floor and having their pictures taken in the customized photo booth that featured animated GIFs and the ability to share their special pics on all their social media channels using #RunTheUnderground.
