Heritage American tennis brand K-Swiss kickstarted a sneakers comeback in 2014 after a few quiet years, redefining the brand and it's direction. In 2015, K-Swiss are looking to continue their hot streak, and next up is an exclusive release with Oi Polloi, the iconic Manchester-born menswear store. Choosing to work on the Irvine T—previously known as the Deuce—which first made a name for itself in 2010, and five years later is back, with this Oi Polloi-exclusive release marking its re-introduction to the K-Swiss collection.
Stripped back to basics, the Irvine T wears a 'tennis whites' upper constructed of canvas, with the five stripes branding appearing in subtle white stitching, above a white midsole and gum toe-box. The finishing touch is the heel panel, available in either brunner blue or striking red, which finishes a shoe inspired and informed by the history of court performance, but updated to work in the lifestyle realm. These kicks are heat, and will look dope in just about anyones rotation this summer. Don't sleep.
