YouTube channel Overtime has given us another increasingly rare sighting of Kanye West. Kanye sat among former NBA greats Scottie Pippen, Derek Fisher, and Kenyon Martin at a Los Angeles high school championship game that took place on December 29. Pippen and Martin were watching their sons Scotty Pippen and K.J. Martin compete.
Kanye can be briefly spotted at various points of the video enjoying the game, although it's unclear what stake he has in this game. One of the last recent sightings of Kanye before this appearance came with him teasing some new Yeezys, albeit probably not deliberately.
It's been a quiet year for Kanye, at least when it comes to music output. But with the news that he's "strictly" producing the next Kid Cudi album after the two squashed their brief beef, it seems that next year will be another big one for 'Ye. There were also those rumors that he'd been recording in a studio somewhere in Wyoming back in the spring. Kanye made headlines more recently for his Christmas gift to his wife Kim Kardashian West, which was over $200,000 worth of stocks in Amazon, Apple, Adidas, Netflix, and the Walt Disney Company.
