Every year since 1981, Canadian Music Week has brought some of the best local and international artists to Toronto. The event is one of North America's premiere music festivals, allowing fans to check out some of the coolest venues in the city, discover their new favourite acts, and celebrate the country's wealth of undeniable talent. While the industry parties and galas are always highlights of CMW, the best part of the festival is obviously the live music.
Last year's edition was chock-full of must-see shows, including Skepta, Kevin Abstract, Nao, and many more. While it seems tough to top previous entries, this year's Canadian Music Week is shaping up quite nicely. Along with rising Toronto star, Charlotte Day Wilson, rock icon Melissa Ethridge, indie rockers Hollerado, and psychedelic punk outfit, Weaves, will also hit the stage in 2017.
Canadian Music Week will take over thirty venues in Toronto, feature hundreds of performers, and will span six nights. To get a detailed look at who you can catch rocking out the stage, follow us after the jump. To snag your own tickets or festival passes, visit CMW's official website here.
