Premiere: Watch The New Video For JP Cooper And Kojey Radical’s "Party"

What better way to illustrate a love-drunk chemical reaction set off in a party?

Hot on the heels of the release of his latest material, the Kojey Radical-assisted "Party", UK singer-songwriter JP Cooper today releases stunning complimentary visuals. Depicting a chance connection between two in a crowded room, the story plays out in-between Cooper's soul vocal, melting over twinkling strings crafted by Finnish producer Teemu Brunila. The decision to draft in wordsmith Radical on this version here, is also an inspired one, as the poet’s hard-hitting tone, works in bitter contrast to the warm medley served up prior. "Working with JP was long overdue." Kojey explained to us via email. "I've been a big fan of his work for a very long time. It's rare you find people with voices like his of people who know exactly what they want out of a record. He is a true artist. The song itself was great before I touched it, so needed to make sure I did it justice." JP agreed, adding, "Kojey has brought so much to this track and his performance in this video is electric!!" The two come together at the tracks apex as rising urgency and sprinkled soul riffs settle over clashing drums—what better way to illustrate a love-drunk chemical reaction set off in a party?
