London's Lady Chann has been plugging away in the studio recently with renowned button-pusher Sticky. Though the producer's usually known for his UKG club weapons, here he switches up his sound towards the bashment and dancehall vibes that fit Chann's distinctive vocals so well. Taken from her forthcoming five-track EP, Conspire (due June 6 via Chann's Dun Dem Music), "They Could Be" plays out like a rallying war cry over a searing, siren-like beat; judging by this track alone, it could well surpass the greatness of last year's CorrupChann EP—and if you heard that, you know we aren't saying it lightly.
