For Spring/Summer 2022, Farah has unveiled a selection of fresh summer staples which look to the Glastonbury Festival archives and the heyday of Britpop.
The sun-soaked collection features loose silhouettes and a colour palette that pays homage to the sea of tents across the Somerset fields captured through the lens of the compact camera. Dusty tones of pink, lilac and brown feature throughout the collection and are complemented by deeper hues of blue, green and orange.
Standout prints this season take inspiration from the Yin & Yang logos, with added texture and motifs embedded in all-over prints and placement graphics on shirts, swim shorts, and tees. Playing on a psychedelic trip, the brand has also unleashed a selection of kaleidoscope graphics, which have been applied across the Rebello bowling shirt and swim shorts.
The brand’s “Madras” check appears across a range of pieces, including the Weller Blouson, Austin shirt and Trehurst check shorts, while the Maverick shirt also takes direction from another hippy staple – the patchwork blanket. Utilising elements of check, Farah has pieced together this pattern in a patchwork style giving a contemporary look to a classic style.
