Alex Olson Announces Full Bianca Chandôn Collection Is Coming

None

With skateboarding being the new go-to influence in men's fashion, Alex Olson has most definitely it made it, considering he is both a professional skateboarder and designer. So it would make sense that the now New York-based Olson would speak with The New York Times about his growing clothing collection, Bianca Chandôn.

After leaving the legendary Girl Skateboards to focus on working with bigger brands like Nike, Vans and Louis Vuitton, Olson launched his own streetwear line, Bianca Chandôn, last year and we've been paying attention ever since. Though primarily tees and crewneck sweatshirts have made up the small, solid collection thus far, Olson told the NYT that the next step is a full ready-to-wear line. He also touches on the sales strategy that smaller brands like his use, which is to specifically produce a limited run of product where, if it sells out (which it will), fans have to find gear through another means. Olson likens it to pioneering DJs and their bootleg vinyls of hit records, but, let's be real, this is more or less exactly how Supreme stays relevant. Shout out to the streetwear gawds as per usual. Anyway, the take away here is that a full Bianca Chandôn collection is on deck and that's pretty fucking dope from where we're sitting.
