In an always-worth-revisiting FastCo profile last year, Tyler's inspiring multi-hyphenate success was praised by Pharrell Williams, who also noted that pluralism in general should be expected and encouraged among musicians.
"[Tyler's] a pluralist, as are many musicians," he said, adding that Tyler has the added strength of the "audacity to try."
Earlier this month, Tyler was among the collaborators assembled for GoldLink's new Diaspora album. He appears alongside Jay Prince on the song "U Say," produced by DJ Juls.
