In our world, your car is partially a way to show off. It's a way to impress your girl to demonstrate your style, your taste, and your ability to take care of what's important to you. Not all people think this way however, and we think that's a huge mistake. There are plenty of girls who don't care one ounce what car you're driving, what kind of condition it's in, or how you drive it, but the women we are interested in care almost just as much about your ride as you do. That's why, when you're taking your girl somewhere, it's crucial to be on top of your game. Hopefully none of these things ever happen to you. These are The 10 Most Embarrassing Things To Happen With Your Girl in the Car.

She finds out the car you've been trying to stunt with is not actually yours.
So, your girl really thinks that you're driving a brand new Audi RS5 Coupe, huh? She probably doesn't know that it starts at about $70K, but she has to have an idea that those things aren't cheap. If you're a couple, and she didn't figure out that you actually can't afford something that nice, that's sort of on her. Use your brain. However, if you're on a first or second date, you happen to get pulled over, and you're forced to tell the officer that the car is rented, a test drive, or (much worse) stolen, then you're going to have some explaining to do.
You stall your car in the middle of an intersection.
We've all been here, at least on our own. You start rolling through the stoplight, you push the clutch in, and as you try to perfect your left foot in-to-right foot out ratio you hear a grind of the gears (aka the worst sound on the planet), the car jolts, and the power cuts. There you are, sitting like a duck in the middle of the street with four streams of traffic all staring at you. If you're in a suburban town, it's probably a lot better, people will probably just wonder what the hell you're doing and be patient until you get going. If you're in a city, however, get ready for a barrage of honks that will only build the pressure and make you look dumber in front of your lady friend.
Your car gets towed.
How are you supposed to drive your girl when you can't even access it? She didn't get all dolled up in her little dress and high heels just to be forced to hop on the bus.
She hears that CD you never wanted her to hear.
Look, we all have our guilty pleasures. But, generally, we don't want anybody else knowing that we listen to those tracks. So, make sure you keep your Miley, T-Swift, Cher, and Madonna compilation safely tucked away before your lady starts thinking you're more of a woman than she is.
You crash your car.
Whether it's running up a curb, tapping a bumper in front of you or full-on T-boning somebody, it's pretty embarrassing for anybody who causes an accident. You're proving that you're not a good driver and you're putting other people's lives (in this car, your girl's) in danger. Not a good look.
You get smoked in a street race
Few things can incinerate your man card quicker than staring at the back of another man's car, proving that your ride is inferior. It's one thing to try racing when you're on your own, but it's a completely different situation with a girl in the passenger's seat. Not only do you like you're 17 years old for accepting the challenge, you look 12, when you start tearing up because you thought your car was just so cool.
You felt it necessary to participate in a street race.
Unless it's one of your friends with whom you're just messing around with and launching an EVO against an STi, why the hell are you taking something like this seriously? If some dude pulls up to you revving his engine to show off, he's probably a douche. And the fact that you're succumbing to his plan to race makes you a sucker. If he pulled up to you, there's a good chance he's got something pretty powerful going on under the hood, meaning you're probably going to lose, unless you're a huge gearhead who's been building a dragster for the past five years.
You come too early.
You know and we know that your car isn't just used for driving. Don't try to pull that over our heads. We're the ones giving you the tips for it, remember? Now, hopefully you're in a relationship in which this won't really matter too much. If it does happen to you, remember, you're not the first it's happened to, and you' certainly won't be the last. It's just extremely inopportune timing. With her in the excited mood from the foray into exhibitionism, the last thing you want to happen is ove-rev the engine and blow ... a head gasket.
You don't know how to change a flat tire.
Women expect their men to take care of them, and if you don't even know the basics of how to change a tire, it's not a good look. The only thing worse might be if you were with your gearhead father or your other homies. It's really not that hard guys. We've already explained this.
You run out of gas.
If your girl is the common person who sees the car as a place to get from point A to point B, then she's gonna give you the stink eye when you're stranded on the side of the road and have to leave her there to go find the nearest gas station. If your girl actually knows how to take care of her car, then she's probably going to start questioning whether or not you can really take car of her. After all, you can't even properly take care and maintain your ride.
