When Audi unveiled the Quattro concept at the 2010 Paris Motor Show we were stunned. It was a perfect homage to the ur-Quattro and was supposed to be headed to production. Alas, that never came to be as Audi couldn't figure out where to squeeze the Quattro into a line up that already included the RS5, TT, TTS, TTRS, and R8.
Now the company has quite literally gone back to the drawing board and come up with a new Quattro concept for next month's Frankfurt Motor Show. This one really will be produced, and it's going to be a limited edition supercar that will be positioned above the R8. Basically, Audi realized that we all went apeshit, and that this thing will sell at any price.
