New details about Lamar Odom's 2015 coma are still coming to light three years after he was found unconscious in a Nevada brothel.

Sitting down for an ice bath with Kevin Hart for his Cold As Balls show this week, the former NBA star said he feels lucky to be alive. "All my doctors that see me say I'm a walking miracle," he told Hart. Then Odom said, "I had twelve strokes and six heart attacks when I was in the coma."

During a 2016 interview with The Doctors, Odom opened up about more of the intense details involving his coma. "I couldn’t even speak at the time," he said. "I couldn’t talk. Nothing would come out when I would open my mouth, so I was scared."

After cocaine and opiates were found in Odom's system following the coma, he checked himself into rehab and is now sober. He is currently getting ready to release a book about his eventful life. "I think my book will let anybody know that they can overcome anything—anybody dealing with addiction or any types of problems they're going through," he tells Kevin Hart.

Odom recently sat down with US Weekly for a conversation about the autobiography and explained, "My fans have always been the best and I really wanted to release this book to give you all a chance to get to know Lamar Odom and my real story, directly from me. I hope to [be] an inspiration to many that you can overcome adversity and challenge no matter where you fall from."
