The Portland Police Sent Out a Great Tweet After the Trail Blazers Stole a Playoff Game From the Rockets Last Night
Shortly after the Trail Blazers beat the Rockets last night, the Portland Police sent out a pretty amazing tweet.
The Portland Trail Blazers stole Game 1 of their first round playoff series against the Houston Rockets last night. We use the word "stole" because the Rockets had a double-digit lead in the fourth quarter of the game and a six-point lead in overtime and should have won the game. But thanks to a 46-point effort from LaMarcus Aldridge, the Blazers were able to steal the first game of the series on the road.
And no one was happier about this than the Portland Police. They took to Twitter a short time after the game ended and provided the tweet of the night:
We don't normally endorse theft, but stealing 1 from the @HoustonRockets is just fine with us @trailblazers #RipCity #PORvsHOU #NBAPlayoffs

Rockets fans were obviously not happy with the po-po's response to the Blazers win:
“@PortlandPolice: We don't normally endorse theft, but stealing 1 from the @HoustonRockets is just fine with us @TrailBlazers” Fuck you

But we have to give it up for them here. That was an excellent tweet. Very well played, guys.
